AGARTALA: An important meeting was held at the state Information and Cultural Affairs Department on Wednesday to finalize the programme to be organized at Assam Rifles Ground in Agartala ahead of Independence Day, department sources said.
Director of the Information and Cultural Affairs Department, Bimbisar Bhattacharya, was present at the meeting along with other officials.
The meeting reportedly discussed arrangements and preparations for the Independence Day celebrations, including logistical and cultural programme planning for the event at Assam Rifles Ground.
