KADAMTALA: The Narendra Modi-led BJP government is guaranteeing food, clothing and shelter to citizens, with further welfare measures in the pipeline, state BJP president and MLA Abhishek Debbarma said on Sunday, urging people not to be misled by the activities of the opposition.
Debbarma made the appeal while addressing an interaction meeting organised at Ranibari Tea Garden in the Kadamtala Kurti Mandal area.
Speaking to the gathering, he asserted that the government remains committed to strengthening welfare delivery and improving the lives of citizens across the state, and appealed to people to stay focused on the government’s development agenda rather than opposition rhetoric.
The meeting drew participation from local residents and party workers, with Debbarma reiterating the government’s commitment to continued progress on essential welfare guarantees.
