BISHRAMGANJ: Engineer Niharendu Dasgupta was left in a critical condition following a road accident on National Highway-8, near the 11th TSR Battalion Headquarters at Pathalia Ghat under Bishramganj Police Station.
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred on the busy national highway stretch, leaving Dasgupta with serious injuries. He was rushed for medical treatment following the incident, though further details regarding his current condition are awaited.
Locals reportedly gathered at the scene following the accident, and personnel from the nearby TSR Battalion headquarters are said to have assisted in the aftermath.
