DHARMANAGAR: Alert residents of Krishnapur area under Dharmanagar sub-division apprehended a group of cattle thieves along with an alleged broker network on [date], exposing what locals describe as a new modus operandi in cattle theft in the region.
According to local sources, the accused had reportedly devised a fresh method to smuggle cattle out of the area, allegedly working in coordination with middlemen who facilitated the illegal trade. Residents, acting on suspicion after noticing unusual movement in the locality, reportedly caught the group red-handed and detained them before handing them over to police.
