AGARTALA: Leader of the Opposition Jitendra Chowdhury on Tuesday visited the Hapania Choumuhani Para residence of Manashree Chowdhury, a young girl from the area suffering from a rare disease, along with a delegation of senior CPI(M) and DYFI leaders.
Accompanying Chowdhury were CPI(M) Central Committee member Krishna Rakshit, party West District Committee Secretary Ratan Das, Dukli Sub-division Committee Secretary Samar Chakraborty, DYFI State Committee Secretary Nabarun Dev, CPI(M) West District Committee member Srijan Dev, DYFI State Secretariat member Shantanu Dev, and Hapania Area Committee Secretary Ashish Chakraborty, among others.
The delegation met with Manashree’s mother and other family members, inquiring about her condition and offering words of support. The leaders assured the family of extending cooperation and assistance to the extent possible in dealing with the situation.
