Minister Visits Bedridden Girl, Extends Financial Aid for Treatment

Agartala:Minister of Tribal Welfare Bikash Debbarma, MLA of 29-Krishnapur Assembly Constituency, visited the residence of Nimu Debnath in Maharanipur on Sunday to extend support to his bedridden daughter, Sima Rani Debnath, who has been battling a prolonged illness for the past 15 years.

Accompanied by BJP Krishnapur Mandal Vice-President Gopal Das, General Secretary Madan Saha, and other party leaders, the Minister spent considerable time speaking with Sima and her family, discussing her medical history and prospects for advanced treatment.

Sima’s father, a daily-wage laborer, has struggled for years to arrange adequate medical care for his daughter amid financial constraints. During the visit, Debbarma provided financial assistance to the family and assured that all possible governmental and personal efforts would be made to facilitate Sima’s advanced treatment based on doctors’ recommendations.

Speaking to media, the Minister expressed concern over the family’s prolonged suffering and committed to exploring all treatment options in consultation with medical professionals.

The visit brought a measure of hope to the family after years of financial hardship, with relatives now anticipating positive developments in Sima’s medical care following the Minister’s intervention.
