RANIRBAZAR: A felicitation ceremony was organised on Saturday to congratulate students who cleared the Higher Secondary examinations, held at Gitanjali Hall in Ranirbazar under the initiative of Sushanta Chowdhury, MLA of 10-Majlishpur Assembly Constituency and Minister in the state government.
The event brought together successful students from the constituency along with their families, teachers, and local residents, who gathered to celebrate the achievements of the young scholars. Minister Sukanta Chowdhury was also present on the occasion.
Speaking at the ceremony, the organisers lauded the hard work and dedication of the students, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in their future academic and professional pursuits. The event featured the distribution of certificates and mementoes to the top performers from the constituency, along with words of motivation from the dignitaries present.
The initiative was aimed at recognising academic merit and inspiring young students to pursue higher education with confidence. Organisers said such programmes help build a culture of encouragement and support for students, particularly those from economically weaker backgrounds who may lack access to resources for celebrating their achievements.
Local residents welcomed the initiative, noting that recognition at such events motivates students to aim higher in their academic journeys. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks extended to all attendees, students and dignitaries alike.
