There is also a strategic dimension. Maintaining a competitive presence in space is no longer merely a matter of prestige; it has become an important aspect of economic and technological leadership.
Of course, some question whether developing countries should spend resources on space exploration when challenges such as poverty, healthcare, and education remain. However, supporters argue that investment in science and technology is not a luxury but a driver of long-term development and innovation.
