New Delhi: Tripura highlighted its achievements in human resource development, investment promotion, education, healthcare, sports, and entrepreneurship during the 11th Meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog held at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on Thursday.
The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was held under the theme “Human Capital for Viksit Bharat.” Chief Minister Manik Saha represented Tripura and outlined the state’s progress in several key sectors contributing to the vision of a developed India.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister highlighted Tripura’s success in deregulation and compliance reduction, efforts to attract investments, the establishment of higher educational institutions, expansion of healthcare services, promotion of sports, skill development initiatives, and the growth of startups. He stated that these measures are playing a significant role in strengthening human capital and accelerating the vision of a “Viksit Tripura.”
The Chief Minister also noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has emerged as one of the world’s fastest-growing economies and is making significant progress across multiple sectors through reforms, innovation, and inclusive development.
Reaffirming Tripura’s commitment to the national goal of Viksit Bharat 2047, he emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between the Centre and the states in building a prosperous, self-reliant, and globally respected India.
The Governing Council meeting brought together Chief Ministers, Lieutenant Governors, Union Ministers, and senior policymakers from across the country to deliberate on strategies for strengthening human capital and accelerating India’s development journey.
