CSD Rumble Quest 1.0 Kicks Off in Agartala, Draws National-Level Combat Sports Talent

AGARTALA: CSD Rumble Quest 1.0, a National Club Championship in combat sports, got underway at NSRCC Boxing Hall here, drawing competitors from clubs across the country for a five-day showcase running from August 26 to 30.

Organised as part of the build-up to CSD Fight Night 2.0, the event features disciplines including Muay Thai, K-1 kickboxing, boxing, and MMA, generating considerable enthusiasm among sports enthusiasts in the state.

Minister Animesh Debbarma attended the event as a key guest, alongside CSD Foundation president Prasenjit Singh and organisation secretary Rajiv Debbarma, whose presence lent further significance to the proceedings.

Organisers said the championship aims to encourage the younger generation towards sports while offering talented athletes a platform to display their abilities at the national level.

The event is being supported by ONGC, the Tripura government’s Department of Disaster Management, and the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, along with the CSD Foundation.

Officials associated with the event expressed hope that hosting a competition of this scale would inject fresh momentum into Tripura’s combat sports and broader sporting landscape.
