AGARTALA: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha inspected the evening Outpatient Department (OPD) services at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee (IGM) Civil Hospital in Agartala, reviewing the facility’s functioning during evening hours.
The visit is part of the state government’s continued focus on strengthening healthcare access, with evening OPD services aimed at easing patient load and improving availability of medical consultations beyond regular hospital hours.
Dr Saha, who also holds the health portfolio in the state government, has periodically undertaken such inspections of hospitals and healthcare facilities across Tripura, reviewing patient care, staff attendance, and service delivery.
