AGARTALA: Twenty-eight families were handed over houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) 2.0, First Detailed Project Report (DPR), for the financial year 2026-27, in a ceremony organised by Ward No. 18 of the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Saturday.
The event, held in the ward, marked the distribution of housing units to beneficiary families under the scheme’s latest phase, aimed at providing pucca houses to eligible urban households.
Ward No. 18 Corporator Abhishek Dutta provided details of the initiative, though a full breakdown of the scheme’s implementation, funding pattern, and beneficiary selection criteria for this round has not yet been made available.
