AGARTALA: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) on Thursday declared the results of the Madhyamik (Secondary) and Higher Secondary “Year Save” (Bochor Bachao) examinations, completing the entire examination process for the academic year.
Announcing the results at a press conference held at the Board’s auditorium, TBSE Chairman Dr. Dhananjoy Gan Chowdhury, Secretary Dr. Jaydip Bhattacharjee, and OSD Neelmadhab Saha said the special examination gave students another opportunity to clear pending subjects.
With the fresh results, the overall Madhyamik pass percentage rose from 84.18% to 84.93%, as 239 students cleared the “Year Save” exam. The Higher Secondary pass percentage similarly climbed from 79.33% to 80.65%, with 350 students passing.
The Board further reported that 292 Madhyamik schools and 66 Higher Secondary schools recorded a 100% pass rate this year.
In a notable subject-wise figure, 39 students appeared for Standard Mathematics in the Madhyamik examination, of whom 36 passed.
Officials said the “Year Save” initiative has helped a significant number of students avoid academic loss, reaffirming the Board’s commitment to student welfare across the state.
