PM Modi’s 12-Year Tenure Marked by Development, Innovation and Good Governance: CM Manik Saha

Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has emerged as one of the world’s leading start-up hubs, with the benefits of development reaching the grassroots.

Addressing a press conference at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state headquarters in Krishnanagar, Agartala, Dr. Saha said Prime Minister Modi’s 12-year tenure has been a transformative journey marked by development, innovation, transparency and good governance. BJP Tripura president Abhishek Debroy, vice-president Tapas Bhattacharya and other party leaders were also present.

Describing the completion of 12 years of the Modi government as a historic milestone, the Chief Minister said the Prime Minister’s leadership has strengthened India’s global standing and earned the country greater international respect.

He noted that Narendra Modi has completed 4,399 days in office as Prime Minister, making him one of India’s longest-serving Prime Ministers. According to Dr. Saha, the Prime Minister has consistently worked to fulfil the aspirations of the people, earning their trust and confidence.

Dr. Saha said the Modi government has established a transparent and accountable administration with a strong focus on citizen welfare, innovation and effective governance. Referring to the Prime Minister’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,” he said the government is committed to building a developed India.

Highlighting the achievements of the past 12 years, the Chief Minister said India has emerged as one of the world’s leading economies, strengthened its banking sector, promoted financial discipline and implemented major reforms. He also pointed to flagship initiatives such as Start-up India, which have created a robust innovation ecosystem and positioned India among the world’s leading start-up hubs.

Dr. Saha further said that India has made remarkable progress in technology, research and digital governance, becoming one of the global leaders in digital transactions. He added that the government is also giving priority to sports development and youth empowerment, further enhancing India’s presence on the international sporting stage.

The Chief Minister said the development-oriented policies of the Modi government are ensuring that the benefits of growth reach every section of society, particularly those at the grassroots level.
