Agartala: The state government today rolled out four new digital modules under the NextGen HRMS platform, aiming to make employee management more transparent and hassle-free for state government staff.
The modules were formally inaugurated at Hall No. 3, Pragya Bhawan, Agartala, at 11 am, with Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy attending as chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, the minister said the initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to good governance. He noted that employees will now be able to access information on leave, salary, GPF, pension and service records from home, eliminating the need for repeated visits to government offices.
The four modules launched are e-Service Book, e-Leave, e-Salary and e-Pension. Officials said the new system would significantly reduce delays in pension disbursal after retirement, with the entire process now trackable online.
The Secretary of the Finance Department, along with other senior officials, was present at the launch event.
The government said the move is part of its broader push to digitise employee services and improve efficiency across departments.
