Agartala: A workshop on the implementation framework of the CM-Nabadisha Abhijan was held at Pragya Bhavan here on Saturday, bringing together officials and stakeholders to finalise the roadmap for the scheme’s rollout across the state.
The workshop drew extensively on learnings from Project TRIPTI, the state’s ongoing rural livelihoods initiative, to shape the operational strategy for Nabadisha Abhijan. Officials discussed convergence mechanisms, monitoring structures and field-level coordination required to ensure smooth implementation.
Under the first phase, the programme will cover 4,000 Self-Help Group (SHG) households spread across four districts, with plans to scale up coverage in subsequent phases based on outcomes from the initial rollout.
Participants at the workshop included officials from the Rural Development department and representatives associated with the state’s SHG network, who deliberated on capacity-building measures, resource allocation and timelines for the first phase.
Officials said the initiative aims to strengthen livelihood opportunities and economic empowerment for SHG households, building on the institutional framework and grassroots reach already established through Project TRIPTI over recent years.
