Agartala:A Fruit Food Festival was organised in Agartala on Sunday by the Maharani Tulsibati Welfare Trust, aimed at promoting public awareness about healthy eating habits and the importance of nutritious food.
State Minister Ratan Lal Nath, Minister for Social Welfare and Social Education Tinku Roy, Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharya, and BJP state president Abhishek Debroy attended the event as chief guests, along with Trust president Bipin Debbarma.
Members of the Trust and several other distinguished citizens were also present on the occasion. A wide variety of fruit-based food items were displayed and served to attendees as part of the festival.
Organisers said the initiative was aimed at encouraging healthier dietary choices among the public and spreading awareness about the nutritional benefits of fruit-based foods.
The event forms part of the Trust’s continued efforts towards promoting health and wellness initiatives in the state capital.
