MOHANPUR: The electricity office at Lefunga in Mohanpur subdivision was allegedly vandalized overnight, with staff discovering the main entrance and cash counter doors broken upon arrival on Tuesday morning, sources said.
According to reports, the incident is suspected to have occurred sometime during the night, though no official confirmation has been given regarding the identity of those involved or their motive.
Staff members reportedly raised the alarm after noticing the damage, following which the matter is expected to be reported to police for further investigation.
Details regarding whether any cash, equipment, or documents were stolen from the premises are yet to be established.
