District-Level Review Meeting Held in Kailashahar, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury Presides

KAILASHAHAR:A district-level review meeting was held on Wednesday (July 29) at the conference hall of Gournagar Circuit House in Kailashahar, chaired by Sushanta Chowdhury, Minister for Food, Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Transport and Tourism, to assess the progress of various government schemes in Unakoti district.

The meeting, which began at 12:30 pm, was attended by Unakoti District Magistrate and Collector Megha Jain (IAS), Superintendent of Police Rishabh, Zilla Parishad Chairman Amalendu Das, and officials from various district departments.

During the session, participants held detailed discussions on the implementation status of ongoing government schemes, the challenges faced in executing them, and the roadmap for future action. Officials presented department-wise updates, following which the minister reviewed the pace of progress and issued directions to expedite pending works.

Chairing the meeting, Chowdhury is understood to have stressed the need for time-bound implementation and better coordination among departments to ensure the benefits of government schemes reach the intended beneficiaries without delay.

The district administration said follow-up meetings would continue to be held periodically to monitor progress.
