Agartala: A felicitation ceremony was held for Commonwealth Games gold medallist Asmita Dey at Rabindra Bhawan here today, organised by the State Sports Department.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Sports Minister Tinku Roy, and Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumder attended the event, along with other dignitaries and officials.
The ceremony was organised to honour Asmita Dey’s gold medal-winning performance at the Commonwealth Games, recognising her achievement as a significant moment for sports in Tripura.
