Udaipur: Former Chief Minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb attended “Yuva Sangbad 2026,” a direct interaction programme with students, as chief guest at Jamjuri Higher Secondary School in Udaipur subdivision on Monday. The event, held in the school’s conference hall, focused on shaping students’ futures and the role and responsibilities of youth.
Also present were Gomati District Council Sabhadhipati Debal Debroy, school headmaster Dipak Kumar Pal, along with teachers, students, and other dignitaries.
During the interaction, Deb engaged directly with students on education, skill development, ethical values, and the proper use of modern technology, stressing the active role of youth in national development. Students raised questions on education, career planning, employment, and social issues, which Deb addressed while encouraging them.
He said the current generation of students would go on to lead the country, urging them to build themselves through confidence, knowledge, skill, and positive thinking. He added that such programmes boost students’ confidence and create space to think about the nation’s future, emphasising perseverance and hard work in achieving their goals.
School authorities expressed satisfaction over the programme’s success. Deb later inspected the school’s new building and reviewed its infrastructure.
