The state capital Agartala moved another step forward in the development of urban infrastructure and civic amenities on Thursday, as several public-oriented projects and infrastructure facilities of the Agartala Municipal Corporation were formally inaugurated at Swami Vivekananda Maidan, under the jurisdiction of the corporation.
Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha attended as the inaugurator and chief guest, along with Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation and Tripura Legislative Assembly member Deepak Majumder. Deputy Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Monika Das Datta and others were also present.
Through this inauguration, new services and infrastructure have been launched for the residents of the city. It is expected that this will further enhance civic amenities in Agartala.
