The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has placed Amritpal Singh, a 30‑year‑old Indian national, on its Most Wanted fugitive list for allegedly playing a central role in a Canada‑based transnational drug‑trafficking syndicate. According to the FBI, Singh is accused of helping move high‑value shipments of cocaine and methamphetamine across Mexico, the United States and Canada, making him a key target in one of the agency’s largest ongoing narcotics investigations.
A federal arrest warrant was issued on 23 June by the US District Court for the Central District of California. Singh faces charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances and conspiracy to export controlled substances, both carrying severe federal penalties.
Singh is believed to be linked to the Ravinder Dhanda Organized Crime Group, a Vancouver‑based network currently under investigation through Operation Hardball, a multi‑agency effort involving US, Canadian and Mexican authorities. The syndicate is suspected of coordinating cross‑border drug routes, using couriers, shell companies and encrypted communication channels to evade law enforcement.
Authorities allege Singh helped facilitate the movement of multi‑million‑dollar drug consignments, acting as a logistics coordinator within the network. As part of its public appeal, the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office has released Singh’s photograph and personal details to aid the manhunt, urging the public to report any information on his whereabouts.
