Udaipur: Traffic on the Udaipur-Amarpur road came to a standstill on Tuesday after Tipra Motha workers and supporters staged a road blockade, demanding the immediate arrest of those involved in a recent shooting incident.
Scores of party workers and supporters, including a large number of women, sat on the road, bringing vehicular movement to a halt. The protesters raised slogans and demanded swift action against the accused, saying the perpetrators must be identified and taken into custody without delay.
