AGARTALA: Milan Chakra Club inaugurated its newly constructed three-storey building on Wednesday, alongside a cleanliness drive held under the Chief Minister’s Swachhata Abhiyan programme.
Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Deepak Majumder and MLA Minarani Sarkar attended the event, along with AMC South Zone Chairman Abhijit Mallick and the corporator of the concerned ward. The club’s president, secretary, and other members were also present.
The dignitaries unveiled a plaque to formally inaugurate the new building. Following the ceremony, a cleanliness drive was carried out within the club premises and in the surrounding areas.
