The ride followed their bilateral talks, during which both leaders reviewed the full spectrum of the India–Russia Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership and discussed key regional and global issues.
Modi posted a photograph from inside the vehicle, captioned “On the way to the World Nomad Games with President Putin,” highlighting the personal rapport between the two leaders. The gesture echoed another recent instance of Modi’s growing trend of “car diplomacy,” after he was seen travelling with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to Tashkent earlier in the week.
The informal journey underscored the warmth in India–Russia ties at a time when both nations are navigating complex geopolitical landscapes.
