Agartala: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio programme “Mann Ki Baat” at Muktadhara Hall in Agartala, along with minister Santana Chakma, Health Secretary Kiran Gitte, and several mandal-level office-bearers and party workers.
Special arrangements were made at the venue for the broadcast, which covered various national issues, citizen-led initiatives, social change, and the country’s progress across sectors. Those present listened attentively amid visible enthusiasm.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Saha said “Mann Ki Baat” serves as an important medium for the Prime Minister to directly connect with citizens, bringing achievements and innovative initiatives from across the country into the national spotlight while inspiring people to take up positive work in their own communities.
Following the broadcast, attendees discussed the country’s development, welfare programmes, and the need for closer engagement with the public, with emphasis placed on the role of functionaries in delivering government schemes at the grassroots level.
The event, besides the broadcast itself, was seen as an occasion to strengthen coordination among party workers, with the presence of the Chief Minister, ministers, and officials adding to its significance.
