Agartala : The Umapada Barman and Anjali Barman Charitable Trust organized a financial assistance programme for underprivileged and meritorious students at Muktadhara Hall in Agartala.
The event brought together students who have demonstrated academic excellence despite financial constraints, with the Trust extending monetary support to help them continue their education.
Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar attended the programme along with other dignitaries. His presence lent significance to the occasion, which organizers said reflects the Trust’s continuing commitment to supporting education among economically disadvantaged sections of society.
