Agartala: The 80th Independence Day was celebrated at Mahakaran, the state secretariat, with due dignity and solemnity through the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag.
The event was attended by State Minister Ratan Lal Nath, along with other senior officials and dignitaries. The tricolour was unfurled amid patriotic fervour, marking eight decades of India’s independence.
The occasion reflected the spirit of national pride observed across government institutions, with officials paying tribute to the freedom struggle and reaffirming commitment to the nation’s progress.
