DHARMANAGAR: A review meeting was held today to assess the overall services being provided at Dharmanagar District Hospital, with senior district officials and health department heads in attendance.
District Magistrate Chandni Chandan chaired the meeting, which was also attended by Medical Superintendent Bhaskar Das and Chief Medical Officer Deepak Halder, among other officials.
The meeting reportedly reviewed the hospital’s functioning across various departments, with discussions centred on the quality of patient care, availability of medicines and equipment, staff attendance, and overall infrastructure at the facility.
Officials are said to have directed hospital authorities to ensure improved service delivery and address any gaps in patient care on a priority basis. Instructions were reportedly issued to strengthen coordination between administrative and medical staff to streamline hospital operations.
The district administration is expected to conduct periodic reviews of healthcare services at the hospital going forward, as part of efforts to improve public health infrastructure in the subdivision.
