50 Tripura Students Depart for 5-Day Yuva Sangam Educational Tour in Kurukshetra, Haryana

AGARTALA: A group of 50 students from Tripura departed from Agartala’s Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport on Tuesday morning to participate in a 5-day educational “Yuva Sangam” program in Kurukshetra, Haryana, under the Government of India’s initiative. The educational tour is being coordinated from the nodal institute, NIT Agartala, to the hosting nodal institute, NIT Kurukshetra.

The delegation for this “Yuva Sangam Phase-VI” educational tour comprises 50 students from across the state, including 26 female and 24 male students. Under the supervision of NIT Agartala, Sayan Bhowmik from the Charilam Block of Sepahijala district successfully secured a spot in this prestigious educational tour, which operates under the broader national initiative of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”

Five guide teachers from NIT Agartala—Dr. Paramveer Singh, Dr. Sukanta Goswami, Dr. Nancy Sharma, Dr. Karuna Kiran, and Mr. Abhishek Kumar Yadav—are accompanying the students to the Haryana Kurukshetra Yuva Sangam program.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Paramveer Singh from NIT Agartala stated that under this Yuva Sangam Phase-VI program at the mega nodal institute, NIT Kurukshetra, and through the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” initiative, students will showcase Tripura’s rich heritage through community education. Over the course of five days, the students will engage in cultural activities and closely learn about the traditions and cultural aspects of Haryana.
