AGARTALA: In a significant stride toward globalizing the skillsets of Tripura’s youth, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was officially signed between the Directorate of Skill Development and the Ramakrishna Mission. The signing ceremony took place on Tuesday at Conference Hall-2 inside the New Secretariat Complex, in the presence of senior government officials and monastic members of the mission.
Under this strategic partnership, a state-of-the-art facility named the “Ramakrishna Mission Foreign Language School & Centre for Human Excellence” will be established in the state. The institute aims to equip local students and professionals with advanced proficiency in prominent international languages, alongside comprehensive modules focused on personality development, ethics, and leadership skills.
Speaking at the event, officials highlighted that language proficiency is a critical asset in today’s globalized job market. By blending technical linguistic training with the Ramakrishna Mission’s core philosophy of character-building, the project seeks to unlock lucrative international employment and academic opportunities for the youth. The Directorate of Skill Development has pledged comprehensive infrastructural and administrative support to ensure the center becomes operational at the earliest.
