AGARTALA: Newly appointed Tripura Pradesh NSUI (National Students’ Union of India) President Amir Hossain was felicitated at Congress Bhawan here on [DATE], in recognition of his elevation to the state student wing’s top post.
Pradesh Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha attended the reception, along with several other party leaders and functionaries, extending their congratulations to the newly appointed student leader.
The event saw participation from party workers and NSUI members, who welcomed Hossain’s appointment as a fresh addition to the Congress party’s youth and student leadership in the state.
Speaking on the occasion, senior party leaders expressed confidence in Hossain’s ability to strengthen the organisation’s presence among students across Tripura, and called for greater mobilisation of the party’s student wing ahead of upcoming political engagements.
The felicitation ceremony comes amid the Congress party’s efforts to reinvigorate its student and youth wings in the state.
