AGARTALA: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited the Jagannath Bari Temple here on the occasion of Guru Purnima, one of the significant days in the Hindu calendar dedicated to honouring one’s teachers and spiritual guides.
During his visit, the Chief Minister spent time with the Maharaj (head priest) of the temple, engaging in conversation and seeking blessings on the auspicious occasion.
The Jagannath Bari Temple, one of Agartala’s prominent religious sites, witnessed a gathering of devotees who had come to mark Guru Purnima with prayers and rituals.
Dr. Saha’s visit to the temple on this occasion reflects the tradition of state leadership participating in major religious and cultural observances in Tripura.
