TBSE POSTPONES “YEAR-SAVING” EXAM TO JULY 15

AGARTALA: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has postponed its “Year-Saving” (Bachhar Bachao) examination, originally scheduled for today, to July 15, Board president Dr. Dhananjay Gan Chowdhury announced.

The exam will be held at the same time as previously notified, the president said, without specifying a reason for the postponement. He added that results of the examination are likely to be declared within this month.

According to TBSE data, a total of 756 candidates have applied for the Madhyamik (Secondary) level “Year-Saving” exam this year, while 1,570 candidates have applied at the Higher Secondary level.

The “Year-Saving” examination allows students who could not clear their annual board exams to get another opportunity to pass and continue to the next academic year without losing a year.

Students and parents have been advised to stay in touch with their respective schools and the TBSE for further updates on exact exam schedules and centres.
