AGARTALA: The 135th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio programme “Mann Ki Baat” was screened on Sunday at Dasarath Deb Smriti Bhavan, organised at the initiative of Ramnagar Mandal No. 7.
The programme was attended by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumder, Sadar District General Secretary Asim Dey, along with several other party workers and local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, leaders highlighted the significance of “Mann Ki Baat” as a medium of direct communication between the Prime Minister and citizens, touching upon issues of governance, social initiatives, and grassroots development discussed in the latest episode. They urged residents to actively participate in such listening sessions to stay connected with national developmental programmes and government schemes.
The event saw participation from party workers, local residents, and members of the public, who listened to the broadcast collectively before a brief discussion on its key takeaways.
Such community listening sessions for “Mann Ki Baat” are being organised across mandals in Tripura as part of a wider outreach effort by the party at the grassroots level.
