Agartala: A team from the Tripura Scheduled Caste Coordination Committee visited the residence of Manisha Das, the Shantiniketan Medical College staff member who was killed recently, to express solidarity with the bereaved family and assess the situation following the tragic incident.
During the visit, members of the committee interacted with family members of the deceased, offering condolences and assurances of support. The delegation is also said to have discussed the progress of the ongoing investigation into the case, which has drawn widespread public attention and concern in recent weeks.
Committee representatives reiterated their demand for a fair, impartial, and time-bound investigation into the killing, calling for strict action against those responsible. They emphasised the need for justice to be delivered swiftly, given the gravity of the case and its impact on the community.
